Special Meeting of PIAA District 6 – May 11, 2004

Chairman Wotkowski called the meeting of the District 6 Committee to order at 3:30 PM at the Hollidaysburg Area High School.  Present were Committee members Ray Wotkowski, Dean Rossi, Vince Nedimyer, David Crumrine, Susan Werner, and Kathy Getz. 

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the use of ineligible athletes during the 2004 season by State College Area High School.  Ron Pavlechko, Athletic Director, and Coach Kimel explained the circumstances relating to the incident.  

A motion was made by David Crumrine and Kathy Getz, to accept the report given to the District 6 Committee regarding the Use of Ineligible Athletes on April 6^th, 8^th, 14^th, 20^th, 22^nd, and 27^th.  Forfeiting these games to the respective schools.  By Rule the four players that were involved will not participate on the varsity A team during District 6 Volleyball Playoffs.

The next PIAA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16, 2004, at 10:00 AM at The Cottage Restaurant in Ebensburg.
