Regular Meeting of PIAA District 6- May 5, 2005
Chairman Wotkowski called the meeting of the District 6 Committee to order at 4:00 PM at the Hollidaysburg Senior High School. Present were: Ray Wotkowski, Alberta Ake, Al D’Ambrosia, Ken Bussard, David Crumrine, Don Hosterman, Vince Nedimyer, Thomas Kakabar, Kathy Getz, Craig Butler, Dean Rossi, Michael Sakash, Kim Struble, James Price, Mike Hudak, and Susan Werner.
On a motion from Susan Werner and Kathy Getz, the minutes of the April 12, 2005 meeting were approved.
On a motion by Thomas Kakabar and Vince Nedimyer, the Committee unanimously approved the April Financial Report.
On a motion by Dean Rossi and Mike Hudak, the Committee unanimously approved the Wrestling Financial Report.
The Committee will accept bids on the 05-06 Audit. Anyone wishing to bid should contact Sherry Montgomery.
On a motion by Vince Nedimyer and Don Hosterman, the Committee unanimously approved committee members being reimbursed mileage only for all playoffs.

Motion by Susan Werner and James Price, the Committee unanimously approved.
Saltsburg High School used an athlete in five track events. Schools have been notified and the proper disqualifications were issued.
Bishop McCort/Conemaugh Township played a baseball game with no umpires. Both schools have followed the guidelines for not counting this game and implementing scrimmage criteria.
Brandon Bailey from Richland spoke to the Committee in regards to playing football by classifications. Mr. Bailey was referred to the May meeting of the District VI Athletic Directors.
The District Wrestling Committee announced the return to District VI wrestling one weekend for AAA and one for AA at Altoona in 2006.

2005-2006 Officers
On a motion by David Crumrine and Vince Nedimyer and unanimously approved by the Committee the following members will serve for the 2005-2006 school year.

The next meeting of the PIAA District 6 Committee will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Cottage Restaurant in Ebensburg.
