Milestones 08-09

Ariel Rocco, Northern Cambria grabbed her 1,000 career rebound against Homer Center on Feb. 25th during the first round of playoffs at Johnstown High.

Teddi Burkett, senior, hit her 1,000 point milestone on Saturday night's game where the Forest Hills Lady Rangers beat Philipsburg-Osceola in the semifinal round of the AAA Girls District Basketball playoffs. She ended the night with 15 points and needed 14 going in. Teddi is only the fourth player in school history to hit this milestone and did it after two knee surgeries that sidelined her in her sophomore year and half of this (senior) season.

Katrina Woods is a senior and is the new record holder for Mt. Union Area School for treys. She finished with 149 treys. Mallory Corbin had 145. Katrina accomplished her milestone on Feb 16,2010 on senior night (last game) against
Juniata Valley.

Janae Dunchack, Northern Cambria reached 1000 points in a win at Purchase Line on Feb. 18, 2010

Emily Daugherty, Ligonier Valley reached her 1,000 point mark during the win over Ferndale (66-47) on December 29, 2009 at the Ligonier Valley tournament. She moved up to third on the school’s all-time scoring.

Williamsburg's Jordan Hileman scored her 1,000th point in the second quarter of a 65-41 win over Juniata Valley on February 2, 2010.

Cody Kushner, who plays for Conemaugh Valley, scored his 1000 point Jan. 5th against Shanksville.

Rebecca Kephart of West Branch scored her 1000th point on Monday, January 25 against Curwensville. She becomes the second Lady Warrior to score 1000 points.

Ariel Rocco, Northern Cambria reached 1000 points in a win over Purchase Line on Jan 20, 2010.

Breanna Kochinsky, Northern Cambria reached 1000 points in a win over Penns Manor on Jan. 13, 2010.

Brooke Snyder of Berlin Brothersvalley scored her 1000 career point on Monday Jan. 18 against Shade in the 3^rd qtr. Brooke becomes the 8^th lady mountaineer to eclipse the 1000 pt mark.

Alli Williams broke Chris O’Connor’s 25 year old scoring record to become the all-time leading scorer in Bishop Guilfoyle Lady Marauder history.

Taylor Gruss from Conemaugh Valley became the ninth player in the history of the girls' program to eclipse the 1,000 point plateau. She achieved the mark in the 3rd quarter against Windber on January 18, 2010.

Tussey Mountain's Rachel Zimmerman scored her 1,000th point on December 15 in the game with McConnellsburg. She became just the 5th girl from Tussey Mountain to score 1,000 points.

Ian Vescovi of Cambria Heights scored his 1000pt against Mo Valley on Dec. 26

1000-point plateau for Southern Huntingdon Girls: Brittney Shields became the 10th girl to achieve this at SH on Dec. 23rd vs. Mt. Union and Elaina Hummel became number 11 on Dec. 29th vs. Central Mountain.
