The tournament will be closed as follows:
Girls A - 8 Teams (3 Advance) Boys A - 8 Teams (3 Advance)
Girls 2A - 12 Teams (4 Advance) Boys 2A - 12 Teams (4 Advance)
Girls 3A - 12 Teams (5 Advance) Boys 3A - 12 Teams (4 Advance)
Girls 4A - 4 Teams (1 Advance) Boys 4A - 6 Teams (2 Advance)
Girls 5A - 4 Teams (2 Advance) Boys 5A - 4 Teams (1 Advance)
Girls 6A - 6 Teams (2 Advance) Boys 6A - 6 Teams (2 Advance)
The higher seeded school will be hosting games up to the semi-finals. In 4 team brackets we will play the semi-finals at the higher seeded school.
· District 6 will pay each school hosting a contest a $400.00 stipend.
· District 6 requires that each site hosting provide a minimum of two security personal and one sports medicine/athletic trainer from that stipend.
· District 6 will pay by check the Game Manager ($100.00), the Game Officials and the Officials Evaluator.
· Any other expenses ie (Announcer, Scorer, Timer, Ticket Takers and Sellers or any miscellaneous fees are the responsibility of the host school.
· There will be no District 6 Program this year. We ask each host site to develop at least a one page handout with rosters.
· Game balls - Will be provided to Host school site for first game. Winner will take ball to next game.
· All single games at higher seeded team site will begin at 7:00 PM
· Consolation games will be played in all classifications to determine the Inter-District Qualifiers with the exception of 6A Girls and 6A Boys, which have an agreement with Districts 8 and 10.
